DUBAI: Jennifer Lopez shared a photo of herself wearing an Elie Saab dress on Instagram this week, and her followers couldn’t get enough of it.
Fashion designer Rob Zangardi outfitted the newly minted 52-year-old in a mint green ensemble that was taken from the Lebanese designer’s Fall 2021 ready to wear collection.
The ankle-length gown, which had lace, floral details, and a collar, was accessorised with an oversized bow at the neckline. She accessorised her summery dress with a pair of green strappy shoes that were a perfect fit.
Lopez shared the look on Instagram, with the song “Young at Heart” by Frank Sinatra serving as the music for the Reel she shared with her 169 million followers.
The global diva is a staunch booster of local talent, and she is frequently photographed donning outfits by designers from our neck of the woods, as shown in the photo above.
The inspiration for some of her most memorable looks at events such as red carpet appearances, exhibitions, after-parties, premiers, and even during television appearances came from Arab designers such as Rami Kadi, Nicolas Jebran, and Zuhair Murad, who she acknowledges as one of her favourite fashion designers.
In July, Zuhair Murad celebrated Lopez’s birthday on Instagram, indicating that the affection is reciprocal between the two celebrities.
To mark the singer’s birthday on July 24, the design company released a short movie showcasing the various instances she has dressed a Murad creation.
Celebrating the gorgeous Jennifer Lopez today by reminiscing about some of our favourite #ZuhairMurad looks from her, according to the caption on the Instagram post.
Her passionate boyfriend would whisk her away to beautiful mountains, and before she knew it, she was expecting a child. Annette, the newborn, has an unexplained strangeness about her.
She has the appearance of a wooden doll, and she grows up to be able to sing as melodiously as her mother.
While the plot occasionally veers into the realm of “A Star Is Born,” Henry is tormented by feelings of remorse and envy as he watches Ann rise in professional stature.
And when Carax finds himself in a mess after being accused by multiple women of violent and abusive behaviour, he unleashes a torrent of destruction that is truly terrifying.
The musical compositions of pop duo Sparks, particularly the song “We Love Each Other So Much,” may have functioned as an independent record, but when used as a narrative driver, they fall flat.
In addition, Driver looks to be acting out of rhythm with the rest of the group on a number of occasions, making the role of “Annette” a little aggravating.
